Island Transvoyager passes aviation safety audit

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Island Transvoyager, Inc. (ITI), the airline known for servicing direct flights to El Nido, has again successfully passed the stringent aviation audit of Shell Aircraft International (SAI).

From March 12 to 14, aviation safety auditors of Shell examined all aspects of ITI operations, including the airworthiness of the aircraft and found that it met the high aviation safety standards of the Shell Aviation Group.

Following the best practices of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the audit is done on a periodic basis looking at the aircraft operators management system, including maintenance, flight operations, quality and safety.

Thus, ITI is now the only fixed wing charter aircraft provider in the Philippines approved for use by Shell for their Shell Philippine Exploration (SPEX) flight requirements.

ITI operates a 50-seater French-Italian aircraft (ATR 42-500). The airline also received its recognition from the CAB as both a scheduled and non-scheduled air operator. Being a scheduled operator accords ITI with the right to obtain time slots for its regular commercial flights as well as for ad hoc non-scheduled chartered flights.

For further information about ITI, you may visit www.itiair.com. For seat reservations, you may call 8515674 or 09178234093 and for charter services you may call 8552678 or 09178233912.
