ALI begins large-scale development in CL

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) has signed a partnership agreement with LeonioLand, Inc. to develop a 1,000-hectare integrated, mixed-use and sustainable township project called Alviera in Porac, Pampanga that could become a Makati or NUVALI of the north.

Right along the SCTex, it is located between the Clark Ecozone, which has an international airport, and the Subic Bay International Freeport. ALI’s first foray into large-scale development in the Central Luzon area, Alviera will be home to a technology and business park with BPO facilities, shopping centers, Manila-based universities, a country club, various recreational amenities, and a full range of residential options to prime-up the area’s large and prosperous market.

“Central Luzon is a powerhouse of economic activities that can be harnessed to produce more opportunities for business and employment. With enhanced infrastructure, Alviera will spur economic activity and progress not only in the area but in the region. Many will be coming this way to establish their businesses outside of Metro Manila,” said Meean B. Dy, ALI VP and group head of strategic landbank management.

Clarissa Leonio-Asuncion, managing director of LeonioLand said: “We are pleased to begin this joint venture with Ayala Land and we are confident that this will be an iconic development, the first of its scale and kind in the region.  Alviera embodies our common vision to transform the site into a vibrant, mixed-use sustainable community, one that blends urban sensibility with respect for nature.”
