Birada ni VP Duterte na sarswela ang impeachment, inalmahan

MANILA, Philippines — Umalma ang prosecution panel sa naging patutsada ni Vice President Sara Duterte na sarswela lamang umano ang paglilitis laban sa kaniya sa Senate impeachment court.

Kiniling ng prosecution panel sa Senate impeachment court na isailalim din sa subjudice rule si VP Sara dahilan ang mga pinagsasabi nito ay isang uri ng pag-atake sa integridad sa paglilitis ng korte.

Ayon kay Senate impeachment adviser at Spokesperson Robert Ace Barbers dapat masuring mabuti ang birada ni VP Duterte na sarswela ang paglilitis.

Ginawa ni VP Duterte ang pahayag nitong weekend nang personal itong matanong kung bakit hindi dumadalo sa paglilitis na iginiit na kinakatawan na siya ng kaniyang mga abogado sa nasabing proseso ng umano’y sarswelang paglilitis.

Pinuna naman ni Barbers, dating kinatawan ng Surigao del Sur na patuloy na nire-reprisinta ng kaniyang mga legal counsels si VP Sara sa kabila ng mga kritisismo nito sa Senate impeachment court.

Inihayag naman ni prosecution legal Spokesperson at counsel Benjamin “Jay “ Tolosa Jr. na ang mga pahayag ni VP Duterte ay isyu ng posibleng sub judice kundi isa ring usapin ng contempt laban dito.
