Globe unveils new digital products, services
MANILA, Philippines – Globe Telecom has recently revealed several new digital products and services its customers can look forward to.
The reveals seem perfect for every type of its customers.
For OFWs
Globe introduced three new services for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). One is SariSariPH.store that allows OFWs to send electronic gift cards to their loved ones.
Globe has also collaborated with pharmaceutical company RiteMed so that OFWs can buy medicines at Philippine prices and have them delivered straight to their loved ones.
The third new service is a calling service through KonsultaMD where OFWs can conveniently call and consult a Filipino doctor back home.
On digital entertainment
In collaboration with Globe’s video-on-demand service HOOQ and Reality Entertainment, Globe has created an original mini-series called “On the Job: The Series.”
The telco also introduced Tribe Video which gives subscribers access to Korean drama series, e-sports and anime, among many other content.
Globe is also working with NBA and Twitter to allow customers to join conversations while watching live games.
For entrepreneurs
Globe aims to make Christmas selling for entrepreneurs easier and more profitable with DigiMall. DigiMall is an online bazaar where small businesses can put up their products and reach more customers. Powered by Shopify, DigiMall allows shoppers to do their Christmas shopping online, hassle-free.
For all loyal Globe subscribers
For a limited time during the holidays, Globe will be giving more perks to its subscribers—low fares with Air Asia, discounted shopping spree at H&M, free GrabCar rides, dinner buffet promos and more.
On Globe merchandise
Subscribers can find new and exciting products at Globe Icnonic Store in Bonifacio Global City. Exclusive Pokemon GO items will be available by Christmas.
Collectible Star Wars Battleship Drones will also be offered along with some limited-edition Star Wars apparel.
These announcements were made at the last Wonderful World with Globe event which was celebrated in a glamorous thanksgiving dinner, where they also recapped its milestones this year like the opening of the Globe Iconic Store, corporate social responsibility efforts through iPhone 7 campaign, and content partnerships with Musical.ly and Smule.
