MANILA, Philippines – For now, the Premier Volleyball League will go all-Filipino with their imports unable to play because of lack of International Transfer Certificate, an FIVB document that gives imports the license to play.

And it could stay that way the rest of the tournament.

"I've been told by Peter Cayco that he will talk directly to the FIVB official handling ITCs at 11 p.m. tonight to help us resolve this," said Ricky Palou of the organizing Sports Vision.

"If we there will be no ITCs after tonight, we'll be forced to go all-Filipino the rest of the way," he added.

Minus the ITC, 11 reinforcements who were supposed to play this conference have yet to see action.

These imports are Bali Pure's Jennyfer Brooke Keddy and Jang Bualee, Creamline's Kuttika Kaewpin and Laura Schaudt, Air Force's Patcharee Saengmuan, Perlas' Rupia Inck and Naoko Hashimoto, Michelle Strizak and Edina Selimovic and the Power Smashers' Hyapha Amporn and Kannika Thipachot.

Palou is befuddled that the application of ITCs has been delayed since such can be acquired in less than a day.

"You can do as many ITCs you want in less than a day, we don't understand why it’s taking so long," said Palou.
