Megaworld launches unique residential condo

MANILA, Philippines - With the new administration’s call for change, property giant Megaworld is bringing its own concept of transformation not only to Makati but also to the entire Philippine condominium landscape.

As today’s young go-getters have become more creative, business-minded and street-smart, the call for a home in the city that embodies their flight in attaining all of their ambitions has likewise been on the upsurge.

Thus, Megaworld is answering this generation’s call for a unique residential haven that will reflect their passions and creativity with The Ellis—its 28th residential masterpiece in the Makati Central Business District.

“The project started with my curiosity about people inside coffee shops. The behavior and the character of the people there fascinates me everytime I go there. But the one thing that really catches my attention are the people doing their sidelines. They are the ones who stake out of their normal jobs and go to a meeting on the sidelines,” said Eugene Em Lozano, vice president for sales and marketing of Megaworld Makati CBD.

“It’s so different from the generation where I came from, where we were  told to choose one career. Now, there’s no more limit to what one can earn and do. With this in mind, we come up with a project with this particular market in mind. Creative individuals with a very strong entrepreneurial spirit and do what it takes to achieve anything. They don’t want to settle for the usual as they are always searching for something new,” added Lozano.

Located at L.P. Leviste St., Salcedo Village, The Ellis features first-of-its-kind amenities that are designed for the modern and distinctive needs of its future residents. One of these unique amenities is the CoLAB shared spaces, which is a creative, non-conventional working space where residents can walk in, grab a cup of coffee, plug in their laptops and start working.

A Town Hall, meanwhile, will cater for casual socials, intimate galas, movie showing, acoustic sessions or even for hosting art exhibits with its cozy feel and contemporary design.

Furthermore, the Pause and Play Room is a space where residents can take a breather from the daily grind by hanging out with friends while playing board or computer games.

“The Ellis is for talented, creative individuals. It is what’s next for society’s who’s next. With this project, I believe we have provided a place where everything is an amenity for the creative mind. It’s as if the place speaks to you and says, go and make something. Create and make a difference. The Ellis is not just a residential condo. It’s an outlook in a life, a mindset, and a lifestyle,” Lozano said.

The Ellis will be a 30-story residential tower composed of 237 units. Unit sizes will range from the smallest of 24 square meters to as big as 103 sqm. The project is set for completion by 2021.

It will have Megaworld’s very first link units, which are small units linked to a main unit, then converted into a workspace, like a resident’s very own small firm, studio workshop area, gallery or home office.

Designed with the overall wellness of its residents in mind, The Ellis will also have fitness center that will let residents train and tone all they want with its expansive facilities and equipment to help them stay in shape while they achieve their dreams.

“We are expecting this to be sold out this year. We will break ground on the property by the first quarter of next year,” Lozano said.
