PAL flies to Bangkok from Cebu
Many Asian destinations from Cebu are reached by air through connecting flights out of Manila. This entails the hassle of security, baggage check and potential delays.
Luckily for Cebuanos and its neighboring islands, Philippine Airlines (PAL) recently launched its direct non-stop flights to Bangkok. The thrice weekly service departs Mactan,Cebu every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and leaves Bangkok every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Travelers from Thailand also have a convenient direct link to Cebu and can connect to any of the domestic destinations PAL flies to from Cebu.
PAL is fulfilling its promise of adding more direct flights from Cebu. To date, travelers can fly to Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, Singapore, Chengdu and Beijing. These destinations are part of the ongoing expansion of PAL Cebu, considered the flag carrier’s primary hub outside Manila.
