Taking the punches

Semantics. Two friends were talking about the recent death of Ronnie Nathanielsz. Friend A shared that Nathanielsz and Pacquiao had a short tiff. The controversial Nathanielsz wrote in an article that Marquez was the more deserving winner than Manny in their third meeting. In reaction, Pacquiao responded by saying that he understands the position of Nathanielsz because he is not a true Filipino. Friend A commented, "Manny can be conceited at times. That was below the belt." Friend B responded, "Manny has said a lot of things. We should not take them too literally."

Better to give. A lot of Filipino fans of Coldplay are excited as band will be holding a concert in Manila in the first quarter of 2017. Sadly, the cheapest ticket is priced at Php 1,800, which is general admission. The VIP costs Php 22,500. Some Filipinos are complaining that it is too expensive; however, if there's will, there's a way: send a letter to Manny Pacquiao.
