Huge field expected to vie in AGC anniversary golf

MANILA, Philippines - The Architects Golf Classic braces for its grand silver invitational tournament staging on Nov. 14 with a huge field of 240 expected to see action at the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

To accommodate the big number of entries, two shotgun starts will be held at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. with AGC president Adones Baluyut and Jerry Cham of Boysen Paints, the event’s mega sponsor, hitting the ceremonial drives at the Palmer Course.

The awards rites will be held at Orchard’s Ballroom.

The event, held to promote camaraderie and friendship among architects and colleagues in the building industry, features the country’s top golfing architects and friends from the construction business.

Organizers are putting up a brand new car as the grand raffle prize in the event sponsored by Boysen Paints and backed by Hocheng Phil. Corp., Kuysen, DDT Konstract, Inc., Emerald Vinyl Corp., Estron Architectural Hardware, Jethrock Construction Corp., Julant Pest Control, MMF Safety Glass, Inc., Supreme Steel Pipe Corp., Toyo Aluminum Panel/Filhome Builders and Wilcon Builders Depot.
