MANILA, Philippines — There were more policemen than usual in last night’s “Britney: Live in Manila” concert in Mall of Asia Arena, but the threat did not come from terrorists, but from frantic fans themselves.
Bouncers had a hard time containing the jam-packed Mall of Asia Arena, especially when everyone stood up to welcome Britney Spears on stage.
The concert started at 9:30 p.m. and lasted for one and a half hours. But it was worth it as the pop icon wowed the crowd with her classics like “Baby, One More Time,” “Womanizer,” “Sometimes,” and “Oops, I did it again.”
Impersonators entertained at the lobbies, while fans, including celebrities, came in gym clothes and other costumes simulating Britney’s ‘90s style.
Surely, after the concert Filipino fans only have one request: Britney, do it again!
