It was a night that celebrated inspiring, beautiful women when the Allure section of The Philippine STAR honored 15 Women of Allure with a photo exhibit at the Shangri-La Plaza East Wing Atrium in Mandaluyong City.

The night became more meaningful as relatives and friends of the honorees arrived to proudly witness the event.

The Women of Allure 2016 are fashion designer Happy Andrada, TV host Lexi Schulze Berenguer-Testa, news anchor Mitzi Borromeo, TV host and entertainment reporter Ginger Conejero, Stores Specialists Inc.’s Gail Cowper, entrepreneur Salome Dy, women’s rights activist and artist Jerika Ejercito, Philippine cultural heritage advocate Clang Garcia, fashion models Sabina Gonzalez and Hye Won Jang, Miss Philippines-Universe 2016 Maxine Medina, Seek the Uniq’s Mikka Padua, singer and entrepreneur Kiana Valenciano, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2016 Kylie Verzosa and Double Dragon Properties’ Hannah Yulo.

Ably emceed by Markki Stroem, who also serenaded the lively crowd, the Women of Allure event, which is now on its 11th year, was spearheaded by Allure editor Joanne Rae Ramirez with assistant editor Büm Tenorio Jr. and creative director Luis Espiritu Jr. The event was presented by Shangri-La Plaza Mall led by its  EVP and GM Lala Fojas.

Seen gracing the event were STAR SVP for sales and marketing Lucien Dy-Tioco, STAR’s Sara Soliven-de Guzman, fashion designer Rhett Eala, Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, award-winning fashion accessories designer Ann Ong, CITEM executive director Rosvi Gaetos and Gary Valenciano.

Bizu Patisserie served delectable canapés and flowing drinks.

This year’s Women of Allure photographers were Rita Marie Abiog, Mau Aguasin and Jo Ann Bitagcol; makeup artists Ria Aquino, Sari Campos and Baba Parma with hairstylists George Aliben,  Boggy Diaz, Hyatt Laurel and Ronnie Tumamak; and stylists Diane Lasam, Bang Martinez and Tara Subaldo.
