A style-setting night to remember
PeopleAsia magazine started 2016 with a bang with its “People of the Year” event held recently at the ballroom of Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
The dazzling event was graced by luminaries, industry movers and shakers, the diplomatic community, fashion and TV personalities, celebrities and more.
Fashioned at the first big gathering of the year were beautiful designer gowns, contemporary ensembles and dapper suites that created a style-setting night to remember. Silhouettes ranged from sweeping ball gowns to hourglass pieces in a variety of relevant hues. From the countless attendees, there were standouts who emulated stellar style. From glittering to the simplest creations, these ensembles made heads turn as the wearers’ presence and star quality captivated and simply made them a cut above the rest.
Highlighting the successful event were Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza of the phenomenal on-screen tandem AlDub, who were People’s Choice awardees.
