Bohol's Amelinckx honored for winning Mutya ng Pilipinas’ Global Queen 2018

CEBU, Philippines — The Bohol Provincial Board on Friday approved a resolution commending Pauline Amelinckx for winning the Global Beauty Queen 2018 title during the recently concluded Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant.

PB Member Kristine Alexie Tutor authored the resolution, giving commendation to Amelinckx, who is a resident of Tubigon town in Bohol, and the title holder of Miss Bohol 2017.

Tutor said that, during the Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant, Amelinckx also took home special awards: Miss Mags, Miss San Mig Lite, Best in Terno, Miss Zen, and Miss Ason Fashion.

Other winners in the annual Mutya ng Pilipinas beauty contest were Aya Fernandez of Taguig City for Miss Tourism International 2018; Kesha Ramachandran of Iloilo (Tourism Queen of the Year International 2018); and Jade Roberts of Australia (Ms. Overseas Filipino Communities 2018).

They, including Amelinckx, will also represent the Philippines in various pageants abroad.

First runner-up honors went to Mary Justine Teng of Muntinlupa City; and 2nd runner-up went to Kristine Micah Malicsi of Navotas. (FREEMAN)
