CEBU, Philippines -  The Cebu City Police Office has recalled the firearm, badge, and uniform of the 53-year-old policeman accused by his female subordinate of harassment.

He has been directed to report to the Personnel Holding Admin Unit in Camp Sotero Cabahug while investigation is ongoing.

As of yesterday, the policeman has not issued a statement.

City police director, Senior Superintendent Joel Doria, said administrative procedures will be followed to give the policeman a chance to defend himself.

The case is being investigated by the Investigation and Detective Management Branch.

Meanwhile, Doria said the police office will provide the complainant counseling if she asks for one.

"We will provide her support… kung kailangan niya ng counseling, we will provide na man," Doria said.

The complainant alleged the senior policeman, her boss in the police station where she was assigned, harassed her sexually since February. The latest incident last November 4 when the respondent allegedly touched her thigh was her breaking point.

"Maghikap-hikap lang gud ta kay kita rang duha diri" she quoted the senior cop as saying.
