But nowadays, Bianca isn't really thinking of work. Having finished her contract as a Studio 23 VJ and completed her responsibilities as the face for SMART Addict Mobile and Fila, she is finally free to take an extended break - the first one she's had since 1998. This, however, is not to say that she doesn't know how to relax. Far from it. "I can't be run by work," she relates. "I'm the type of person who also has to have her own life. I can't be working every single day."
On top of Bianca's list of ways to unwind is traveling, something that gives her an unparalleled high. "It just opens up your senses," she explains. "When you're not familiar with a place, all of a sudden, everything's working and it's a great way to explore, to see new things, to do new things."
Going to unfamiliar parts of the world goes hand in hand with Bianca's other interests: writing and photography. She reveals, "In an ideal world, I would love to do `travel anything.' I'd love to do a travel show. I'd love to write travel articles and take pictures to supplement them."

For now, however, Bianca is content with traveling for leisure. Her choice local spots are Baguio, Palawan and most especially, Boracay, since she tends to "gravitate towards nature." She confesses, "There's only so much of Manila that I can take." As for urban destinations, she loves cities like Paris that have aged gracefully and retained their rich history and culture through the years.
