Filipina booters annihilate Timor-Leste 7-0 in AFF tiff
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine women's national football team continued their winning ways in the AFF Women's Championship, routing East Timor, 7-0, on Saturday.
Camille Rodriguez and Hali Long, who both scored against Malaysia in their AFF opener, netted two goals each.
Quinley Quezada, Sara Castaneda and Charisa Lemoran also scored for the Malditas.
The Pinay booters have scored 10 goals in two games while allowing none so far.
They are now atop the standings with six points.
The Malditas will hope to bank on their momentum when they face defending champions Thailand on Wedensday, August 21.
Thailand is fresh from a stint in the Women's World Cup in France last July.
