UE sweeps Adamson to salvage third win

MANILA, Philippines – The UE Lady Warriors made quick work of cellar-dwelling Adamson to get back on the win column, 25-14, 25-19, 25-22, in the 81st UAAP women’s volleyball tourney at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

Despite playing a no-bearing game against the Lady Falcons, the Lady Warriors played inspired volleyball all throughout the match and overwhelmed their opponents.

UE skipper Selle Balliton led the way for the Lady Warriors, notching 14 points in the contest. 

The UE squad gets their first three-set win of the season and third overall. 

UE improved to a 3-9 win-loss record with only two games remaining in the season. The Lady Warriors already surpassed their record last year where they finished 2-12.
