Dante Navarro - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Angelo Que failed to sustain his third round 67 and closed out with a 70, settling for joint 17th in the Dunlop Phoenix tournament won by Kodai Ichihara at the Phoenix Country Club in Miyazaki, Japan yesterday.

Que hit two birdies against a bogey at the front but flubbed a couple of birdie chances at the back although he salvaged four pars in the last nine holes to string a pair of 35s.

The Filipino ace finished tied  at seven-under 277 with six others and pocketed P1.1 million.

Ichihara sizzled with a final round 63 to jump from joint eighth to the top at 269.
