MANILA, Philippines — UFC head honcho Dana White said that the mixed martial arts organization will donate $1 million to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

White said he felt it was his duty to give back to Las Vegas since he grew up in the city.

"This is a place people come to have fun, unwind and relax. Last night is just disgusting. It makes me sick," White told ESPN.

On Sunday (Monday in Manila,) a gunman open fired at a music festival in Mandalay Bay.

A total of 59 people died and another 527 got injured in what is now the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Aside from the cash donation, White said the UFC 216 on Saturday will be dedicated to the entire city of Las Vegas.

Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee will dispute the UFC lightweight championship in the main card.
