Elorde card features triple main event

MANILA, Philippines - World Boxing Council No. 1 lightflyweight and Oriental champion Jonathan Taconing and Elorde brothers, Juan Martin “Bai” and Juan Miguel “Mig” will see action in a triple main event Saturday at the Elorde Sports Center in Sucat, Parañaque.

Taconing will face Jomar Fajardo with the former’s Oriental Pacific and Boxing Federation (OPBF) belt at stake in ther featured bout of the card presented by sportsman Johnny Elorde in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Manila 101.

WBO AsPac superfeatherweight champion Juan Martin “Bai” Elorde will face Indonesian Yakobus Heluka while  younger brother WBO AsPac superbantamweight titlist Juan Miguel “Mig” will go up against  Indon Arnold Mau.

The Elorde brothers, grandsons of the legendary Gabriel “Flash” Elorde, will try to keep their world rankings intact and campaign for higher ratings to get a crack at world championship fights.

Meanwhile, undefeated Giemel Magramo will clash with  Roilo Golez in a 10-round bout  in the supporting mainer. Japanese Kenta Ide fights Daffy Dempo in a special bout set over six rounds.
