Top karatekas clash in 3rd As-Pac meet

MANILA, Philippines - The third Asia-Pacific Karatedo and Kabudo Championships will be held July 30-Aug. 3 with the best karatekas in the region vying for top honors in various divisions at the Festival Supermall in Alabang.

Karatekas from Iran, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam join the country’s top bets in the event organized by the Philippine Karate League.

Aside from the competition proper on Aug. 1-3, the event will also feature sports exhibits and fun games. Seminars about martial arts will also be held on Aug. 1.
