Inter-province chess

MANILA, Philippines - A wide open race is seen in the National Inter-Province chess team championship which starts tomorrow at the Cabagnot Cultural and Training Center in Old Buswang, Aklan.

Multi-titled Tagaytay, led by GM Darwin Laylo, and Palawan, bannered by GM Rogelio Antonio Jr., head the teams fighting it out for top honors in the tournament organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) in cooperation with the Aklan government, thru Gov. Carlito Marquez.
