ABC Manila B tops Vis-Min bowlfest

MANILA, Philippines - Romi de Jesus, Denis Jalandoon, Buddy Segui and Violy Magsakay of ABC Manila B pooled 2869 to capture the team championship in the 11th Joint ABC Vis-Min bowling tournament at the SM Bowling Center in Cebu City last week.

ABC Manila A composed of Noel del Rosario, Paeng Villanueva, Ronnie Javier and Boyet Libiran came in second with 2760 while ABC Cagayan de Oro Chapter, backed by ABC Cebu bowlers, led by Bing Avila, Nolan and Cynthia Arnoco and Dodong Dumpa, finished third with 2637.

ABC Manila’s incoming 2010 president Noel del Rosario captured the masters singles crown with a six-game series of 1158, beating teammate Paeng Villanueva, who had an 1150. Bibs Luzande placed third with 1128.

ABC Cebu Chapter’s Yeno Kangleon won the high game with 238 while Noel del Rosario copped the high series with 776 in the event backed by Boysen Paints, Davies Paints, Emerald Pipes, Neltex, Philmetal, Boral Plasterboard and James Hardiflex.

Meanwhile, ABC Cebu Chapter founder Bing Avila and event tournament director Boy Kua is inviting all registered architects to join the event every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at SM Cebu Bowling Center in Cebu City.
