Gary, hindi inakalang magiging star magic artist

Kamakailan ay pumirma ng kontrata si Gary Valenciano sa Star Magic. Isang malaking karangalan para kay Mr. Pure Ener­gy na mapabilang sa pamilya ng natu­rang talent management arm ng ABS-CBN. “To be accepted into a family like Star Magic kasi akala ko dati ang focus nila nasa mga kabataan. So tinanong ko isang beses sabi ko, ‘What’s my role in this?’ It was explained to me what my role is going to be and I’m excited to play that role for everyone. Watch out for the projects that we are going to be working on. Maybe some of the projects may not be performing but still there will be projects that are meant to move and to make an impact in the hearts of young people, seasoned people, and I like that role. If that’s the role I’m supposed to play, I’ll play it,” pagbabahagi ni Gary.

Halos hindi raw makapaniwala ang singer na magiging bahagi siya ng Star Magic. Apat na dekada nang aktibo si Gary sa show business. “I think being with Star Magic is one of the directions I’m supposed to head towards… I’m truly overwhelmed,” dagdag niya.

Malaki ang pasasalamat ni Gary sa pamunuan ng Kapamilya network dahil sa patuloy na pagtitiwala sa kanyang kakayahan sa mga nakalipas na dekada. “ABS-CBN has allowed me to reach people, literally all over the world. They have supported me even before I became a part of ABS-CBN in 2004. Now that these doors have opened up for me, I didn’t have to think much about wanting to sign, seal the deal. Para sa akin papeles lang ‘yan. That’s just formality of what I think my heart is always good to feel for ABS,” makahulugang paglalahad ni Mr. Pure Energy.

APL, noon pa pangarap makasama si Sandara

Nakatrabaho ni Apl.de.ap si Sandara Park para sa single na 2 Proud. Ayon sa miyembro ng Black Eyed Peas ay kasagsagan pa ng pandemya nang maisulat niya ang kanta. “I’ve been experimenting on my new inspiration. I love being inspired by afro beats now,” bungad ni Apl.

Matagal na raw nangangarap ang international rapper na makatrabaho si Sandara. Masa­yang-masaya si Apl dahil nakatrabaho ang Korean star sa music video ng bagong single. “I’m glad she’s open-minded about this new style, and it was during the pandemic. So we had to do it via internet and zoom,” kwento niya.

Nitong Marso lamang nailunsad ang 2 Proud music video nina Apl at Sandara. Natagalan umanong ilabas sa publiko ang bagong proyekto dahil talagang pinaghandaan nila ito. “It didn’t feel right when we first thought about it. And we’re working on a Black Eyes Peas album at the time as well. So, I was like maybe when there’s a space for it, without distractions.
