Paula: Human rights are created to protect each and every individual from any form of violence without distinction of any kind, “this is given to all HUMAN BEINGS” thus, this should have never been an issue in the first place, because we are not animals nor a non living things, WE ARE HUMANS so, we deserved to be treated equally with love and respect. But what we needed the most is acceptance from the society, which is our greatest battle up until now. We are in a strong catholic nation and we understand that we follow cultural and religious traditions but these shouldn’t be the cause of denying us from our fundamental rights just because of our sexual orientation or gender identity. This should be inherent to all human beings so, we should get the same security and protection.

Paula: I would choose the queen of Lireo, Sangre Amihan who possessed the “brilyante ng hangin”, If I have her gem of air I will definitely use it to protect my people just like Amihan.
