Nanghakot og awards ug midaog

CEBU, Philippines – Hugyaw, puno sa ka maya, kulbahinam, mabulokon ug malampuson. Ingon niini ang paghulagway sa labing una nga Mr. and Ms. Olive-C Campus Model beauty and brains pageant nga gipahigayon diha sa Aznar Coliseum niadtong Biyernes sa gabii.

Baynte dos ka mga ambongang lalake ug maanyag nga mga dalaga nga naggikan sa nagkadaiyang unibersidad ug kolehiyo sa Sugbo, ingon man ang gikan sa Ormoc City, ang nagtigi niadtong higayona aron paglangkat sa titulo nga sarang ikapasigarbo sa ilang tulunghaan. Ang nahisgutang pageant maisip nga labing dakong inter-campus pageant nga nahitabo sa Sugbo karong tuiga.

Ug human sa dul-an tulo ka oras nga panagtigi, migawas nga mga mananaog isip Mr. Olive-C Campus Model 2009 ang pambato sa University of San Carlos Talamban Campus nga si Marc Kenneth Estuart. Samtang ang Ms. Olive-C Campus Model 2009 nalangkat ni Muriel Adriene Orais nga nag-presentar sa Velez College. Sa sayong bahin pa lang sa pageant nanghakot na og nagkadaiyang minor awards ang duruha.

Gipadayag sa education student nga si Mark sa Banat Hugyaw nga wala gyud siya magdahom nga siya maoy modaog. Nasayran nga una pa lang kadtong salmot niya og pageant. Hinungdan nga giplano na karon sa iyang manager nga si Danny Booc, designer ug tag-iya sa Ozar Models, nga paapilon si Mark sa Mr. Cebu 2009 nga gitakdang mahitabo pipila ka buwan gikan karon.

“Everything was a surprise. First of all, I’m proud to show the potential of all education students out there, this title (Mr. Olive-C Campus Model 2009) is for all of you guys. There’s more than what meets the eye, we just need to show them. I like to say thank you to those who supported me, my friends as well as my fellow candidates of whom we’ve supported each other. We have bonded for the past weeks, during activities and practices. It’s been tiring at times, but we all had memorable times together; the real prize is the experience which is truly priceless,” litaniya pa niya.

Sila si Mark ug Muye maoy mamahimong pambato sa Sugbo alang sa nasudnong indigay sunod tuig adto sa Manila, diin ang mananaog niini mamahimong image model sa Olive C.

“It’s a great privilege to win the crown as Ms. Olive-C Campus Model 2009. This is my first big pageant title. It is my duty to bring the title as well to endorse the product. I would like to thank all the people who supported me—my mother, relatives, friends and most especially to God. To Mr. Danny Booc and my make-up artist, thank you for their guidance. I would also like to send my gratitude to the board of judges and sponsors,” matud pa ni Muriel, sa Banat Hugyaw.
