Negros Occidental P112M supplemental budget OK'd

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines  — The Negros Occidental Provincial Board has approved supplemental budget no. 3 of over P112.7 million, as proposed by Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr.

One supplemental budget of over P14.79 million was for the Economic Enterprise Development Department (EEDD), while another of more than P97.9 million was for other appropriations of the provincial government.

Items in the budget are P5.9 million for hospital and medical equipment, P86 million for purchase of construction and heavy equipment, P5.6 million for dredger, P9.05 million for drugs and medicines expenses and P3.1 million for dental labs and supplies, among others. (FREEMAN)
