MANILA, Philippines — Naiposte ng Creamline ang pinakamasama nilang professional record sa elimination round at natalo pa sa kanilang se­mifinals opener kontra sa Choco Mucho.

Kaya naman nang ma-sweep ng Cool Sma­shers ang Flying Titans sa 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals ay tila nabunutan ng tinik sa la­lamunan si team captain Alyssa Valdez.

“It was really a diffi­cult conference for all of us probably because we’re really trying to fi­gure out also kung nasaan kami at this point of our lives and in our careers and as a team din kung ano pa iyong kailangan na­ming i-improve,” sabi ng 30-anyos na si Valdez.

Inangkin ng Creamline ang ikaapat na sunod na PVL AFC crown at pang-walo sa kabuuan.

Kumpara sa nakaraang AFC noong Dis­yembre na winalis nila ay naglista lamang ang Cool Smashers ng 8-3 record sa eliminasyon para umupo bilang No. 4 sa single-round semifinals.

Bigo sila sa Flying Ti­tans sa semis opener ba­go nakabawi at tinalo ang Petro Gazz Angels at Chery Tiggo Crossovers para tumapos na may 2-1 baraha papasok sa ka­nilang ika-11 finals appearance.

“Based sa standings namin, probably this was the hardest, most challenging, and unpredic­table conference for the Creamline Cool Sma­shers,” wika ng three-time PVL MVP.

Pinadapa ng Creamline ang Choco Mucho sa Game One, 24-26, 25-20, 25-21, 25-16, at sa Game Two 20-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11, para sikwatin ang titulo.

Bumanat si Finals MVP Jema Galanza ng tig-20 points sa nasabing mga panalo ng Cool Smashers sa Flying Ttans.
