Rivers tinuligsa ang NBA

BOSTON -- Tinuligsa ni Celtics coach Doc Ri­vers ang NBA dahil sa multang ipinataw sa San Anto­nio Spurs matapos ipahinga ang apat na top players ni­to.

Sinabi ni Rivers na hindi mapipigilan ng multang $250,000 na inihayag ni NBA Commissioner David Stern ang mga coaches para ibangko ang kanilang mga players.

“That reaction to the absence of the players was probably overdone,” wika ni Rivers. “And then, all of a sudden, you have to have an action’ by punishing the Spurs.”

“I do get the other side, but it’s a tough one,” sabi pa nito. “You’ve got to coach your team to win in the long run and you have to do whatever you need to do. If that’s sitting players, you sit players.”
