Makakatrabaho ng aktres sina Carlo Aquino at Joshua Garcia sa Philippine adaptation ng Korean drama series na It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.
“It was definitely worth it. I didn’t feel it was worth leaving my family for a little bit to shoot. When they offered this to me, it was an instant yes because I love the original and I couldn’t let is pass,” nakangiting pahayag ni Anne.
“The moment I watched the series in 2021, I actually called Viva, my manager Veronique (del Rosario) and I asked her. ‘Ate, kung magbabalik ako sa series, I think I would like to do t’s Okay To Not Be Okay. Can Viva please check if we can get the rights for it?’ After a week, bumalik siya sa akin.
“I love her journey of growth. You see it with how she dresses, how she changes her hair, how she speaks, how she controls her emotions, how she goes through the process. Pati ‘yung outburst, sabi ko, ‘I can see myself.’ Grabe, she can be so relatable to so many and maybe I recognized and I acknowledged that with myself also. I’m so happy. It’s also storytelling through fashion which is something that I love,” pagtatapos ng aktres.
“I’ve never really dreamed of any of this. I grew up with my lola and my uncle, and my mom had a different family. So the only time that we would bond was when she would go with me to these different kinds of auditions. Kasi I just loved singing. That was our main strong bonding moment together,” pagbabalik-tanaw ni JK sa ‘Tao Po’ ng ABS-CBN.
“She passed away because of cancer and five days after she passed, I saw on television The Voice Kids audition. It was more of homage to my mom. In my perspective as a 12-year old, ‘Sige, gawin ko for mama.’ Every time before I go on stage, I always say a little prayer with my mom and my lola and papa. So that something never left me,” kwento ng binata.
“Everything happens for a reason. Iyon ‘yung laging iniiwan niya sa akin. I am pissed that I lost her as a kid and she died too young. Yes, I am mad, still unfair, it’s always unfair. But I do believe na she’s somewhere out there in the crowd,” makahulugang pahayag ng singer. — Reports from JCC
