Olympic at SEAG-bound delegates babakunahan na sa Biyernes

MANILA, Philippines — Sa Biyernes sisimulan ang pagtuturok ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines sa mga miyembro ng Team Philippines na sasabak sa 2021 Olympic Games at sa Southeast Asian Games.

Gagawin ang bakunahan sa Manila Prince Hotel sa San Marcelino St. sa Maynila, ayon kay Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham ‘Bambol’ Tolentino.

“Ang good news po ngayon ay inaprubahan na rin ang ating vaccination day on Friday, exclusive for Olympic-bound delegates and SEA Games-bound delegates,” sabi ni Tolentino sa Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum online session.

Ito ay sasaksihan nina Chief Implementer of the National Task Force against COVID-19 Secretary Carlito Galvez, Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III at COVID-19 testing czar Secretary Vince Dizon.

Ang bibigyan ng COVID-19 vaccines ay ang mga national athletes, coaches, officials at delegation members na lalahok sa 2021 Olympics sa Tokyo, Japan at sa SEA Games sa Hanoi, Vietnam.

Nakatakda ang Tokyo Olympics sa Hulyo 23 hanggang Agosto 8 habang idaraos ang Vietnam SEA Games sa Nobyembre 21 hanggang Disyembre 2. (
