'Amang' nag-landfall sa Lagonoy, Camarines Sur; 11 lugar nasa ilalim ng Signal no. 1

MANILA, Philippines — Sumalpok uli sa kalupaan ang Tropical Depression Amang sa Rehiyon ng Bikol, bagay na patuloy na magdadala ng mga pag-ulan sa Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur at Quezon mula ngayong hapon hanggang Huwebes.

Ito ang ibinahagi ng PAGASA, Miyerkules, matapos mamataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa kalugaran ng Lagonoy, CamSur bandang 4 p.m.

• Lakas ng hangin: 45 kilometro kada oras malapit sa gitna
• Bugso ng hangin: hanggang 55 kilometro kada oras
• Pagkilos: mabagal
• Direksyon: pahilagangkanluran

"[I]solated flashfloods and rain-induced landslides are possible, especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazard as identified in hazard maps and in localities that experienced considerable amounts of rainfall for the past several days," patuloy ng state weather bureau.

Martes lang ng gabi ng maiulat na nag-landfall ang parehong bagyo sa Catanduanes.

Nakikitang makararanas naman ng 50-100 millimeters na accumulated rainfall sa mga sumusunod na lugar sa darating na tatong araw: CALABARZON, Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, at katimugang bahagi ng Aurora.

Nakataas pa rin ang Tropical Cyclone Wid Signal No. 1 sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

• Catanduanes
• Sorsogon (City of Sorsogon, Pilar, Castilla, Donsol, Prieto Diaz)
• Albay
• Camarines Sur
• Camarines Norte
• Laguna (Cavinti, Lumban, Kalayaan, Paete, Pakil, Pangil, Siniloan, Famy, Santa Maria, Mabitac)
• Aurora
• Quezon (Buenavista, Calauag, Infanta, Lopez, Guinayangan, Plaridel, Quezon, Alabat, Sampaloc, Mauban, General Nakar, Perez, Gumaca, Atimonan, Real, Tagkawayan, San Narciso) kasama ang Pollilo Islands
• Rizal (Tanay, Pililla, Rodriguez, Baras, City of Antipolo)
• Bulacan (Norzagaray, Doña Remedios Trinidad)
• Nueva Ecija (Gabaldon, Bongabon, Laur, General Tinio)

"Areas under Wind Signal No. 1 may experience strong winds (strong breeze to near gale strength) associated with the tropical depression which may cause minimal to minor impacts to life and property," sabi pa ng PAGASA.

"'AMANG' is forecast to track generally northwestward in the next 24 hours and is expected to traverse over the eastern localities in Camarines Sur before passing the eastern coast of Camarines provinces and Quezon (with the possibility of passing near or over Polillo Islands)."

Nakikitang hihina ang tropical depression pabalik sa pagiging low pressure area sa Biyernes, o maaaring mas maaga pa, dahil sa pinagsamang epekto ng land interaction, dry air intrusion at "increasing vertical wind shear."
