Voter registration, tuloy sa Disyembre 12

MANILA, Philippines — Itutuloy ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang voters’ registration sa Lunes, Disyembre 12, at pinaalalahanan ang publiko na samantalahin ang iskedyul dahil tatakbo lamang ito ng mahigit isang buwan.

Ayon kay Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco, mula sa Dis. 12 hanggang Enero 31, 2023 ang voter registration bilang paghahanda sa Disyembre 2023 Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

Ang mga magpapare­histro ay maaring magtungo sa mga lungsod at bayan mula Lunes hanggang Sabado, simula 8am-5pm, ani Laudiangco.

May tatlo pang mall sa labas ng National Capital Region (NCR) ang kabilang na rin sa pilot test areas para sa “Register Anywhere Project” o RAP, maliban sa 5 malls na maaring puntahan sa Metro Manila, na maaa­ring magparehistro kahit hindi taga-Metro Manila o ‘di botante ng Metro Manila na sa tuwing Sabado at Linggo lamang mag-a-accomodate sa mga petsang Dis. 17 hanggang Enero 22, 2023, maliban sa Dis 24, 25 at 31 at Enero 1, 2023.

“The RAP Pilot Test will be conducted at the following sites: SM Mall of Asia (Pasay City), SM Fairview (Quezon City), SM Southmall (Las Piñas City), Robinsons Place Manila and Robinson’s Galleria (Quezon City),”ayon sa Comelec.“Additional RAP sites for those who are temporarily in the following areas but want to register and vote in their respective towns and cities outside of these areas, Robinsons Mall Tacloban, Barangay Baras Baras, Tacloban City; SM City Legazpi, Imelda Roces Avenue, Zone 9, Barangay 37 Bitano, Legazpi City, Albay and Robinson’s Mall Naga, Naga City, Camarines Sur,” aniya.

Dagdag pa sa maaring puntahan para magparehistro ang Senate of the Philippines, sa Pasay City sa Enero 25, 2023.

Magbubukas din ng RAP sa House of Representatives sa Quezon City at sa Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Main Office, sa Pasay City, na hindi pa isinasapinal ang iskedyul kung kailan.

Dapat na dalhin ng mga aplikante ang valid proof ng identifications tulad ng National ID (PhilSys), passport, driver’s license, employment ID, student ID o  library card na pirmado ng management ng eskwelahan, kolehiyo o unibersidad, Senior Citizens ID, PWD ID, Indigenous Peoples Certificate mula sa National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, at notarized Barangay Certification na may kalakip na litrato at lagda.
