Sa ‘ghost dialysis’
MANILA, Philippines – Iniutos kahapon ni Pangulong Duterte sa Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) na kasuhan ang mga sangkot sa ghost dialysis treatment.
“The Palace views with deep concern the allegations of irregularities involving the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), particularly those with regard to the reported anomalies in connection with bogus kidney dialysis treatments,” wika ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo kahapon.
Magugunitang dalawang dating empleyado ng isang dialysis center sa Quezon City ang nagbulgar ng anomalya sa pamamagitan ni Atty. Harry Roque.
Sinabi ng whistleblowers na kahit patay na ang pasyente ay sinisingil pa rin sila sa PhilHealth para sa dialysis treatment ng kanilang namatay nang pasyente.
“All persons involved in the alleged fraud will be prosecuted and face accountability. They shall reap the harshest penalty imposed by law. Nothing can shield them from prosecution and punishment,” ani Panelo.
