Face mask mandatoryo sa mga bata – OCTA
MANILA, Philippines — “Kailangan pa ring pagsuotin ang mga bata ng face masks lalo na ang mga hindi bakunado.”
Ito ang iginiit kahapon ni OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David, kaugnay ito ng pagpayag ng gobyerno na payagan ang mga bata sa National Capital Region na makalabas.
“It’s about 15 times higher than adults and I think this is something that we have to bring to the table. And for this, 10 to 14-years-old and earlier, it was mentioned there’s a concern about children unvaccinated getting infected,” saad ni David.
“And I think this is a part of and related to what [presidential adviser] Joey Concepcion mentioned about us being more concerned about unvaccinated people and that will also include children in the discussion.”
Napaulat kamakailan na ang mga bata sa malls at parks ay hindi nagsusuot ng face mask.
Ayon pa kay David, ang pagtaas ng COVID-19 sa UK ay dahil sa hindi pagsusuot ng face masks ng mga residente.
