Proseso ng permit to carry sa gun show

MANILA, Philippines - Magkakaroon ng “one stop shop” para sa pagkuha ng “permit to carry firearms outside of residence” sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa sinumang bibili ng baril o dati nang nag-aarmas sa gaganaping ika-21 Defense and Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 sa SMX Convention Center sa Mall of Asia, Pasay City na gaganapin mula Nobyembre 14-18.

Kasama rin dito ang neuro-psychiatric exam na pangangasiwaan ng PNP Health Services, Directorate for Investigation clearance, drug test ng PNP Crime Laboratory, gun safety seminar (lecture) ng PNP Civil Security Group at PNP Firearms and Explosives Office, at National Bureau of Investigation clearance.

Sinabi ni Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD) President Jethro Dionisio, ito ay bunga ng suporta ni PNP Chief, Director General Alan Purisima na nagsusulong ng responsableng pagmamay-ari ng baril sa bansa.

Magbibigay rin ng malalaking diskuwento ang mga gun dealer sa mga piling baril at shooting pa­raphernalia sa limang araw na gun show event sa mga nais bumili ng armas para sa kanilang proteksyon

Bilang tradisyon sa gun show, magbibigay din ang DSAS ng libreng seminar sa “Gun Safety & Responsible Ownership” ni Eustacio “Jun” Sinco, isang FEO-accredited ins­tructor; at “Filipino Gun Owners Forum: Purpose of Your Firearms and the Responsibilities Behind Owning One” ng MP Concepts.
