Galvez panauhin sa ROTC Games Finals opening
MANILA, Philippines — Si Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Carlito Galvez Jr. ang guest of honor at speaker sa opening ceremony ng 2023 Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Games National Championships sa Cuneta Astrodome sa Pasay City.
Magsasalita si Galvez sa pang alas-3 ng hapong seremonya para sa mga cadet-athletes ng Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force at Philippine Navy.
Higit sa 800 gold at silver medalists sa mga qualifying legs sa Visayas (Iloilo), Mindanao (Zamboanga), Luzon (Cavite) at National Capital Region (Manila) ang mag-aagawan sa gold medal sa arnis, athletics, 3x3 basketball, boxing, kickboxing, volleyball at e-sports.
Si Pasay City Mayor Emy Calixto ang magbibigay ng welcome remarks at si Sen. Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino, ang may konsepto ng ROTC Games, ang magbabahagi ng inspirational message.
Inaasahan ding dadalo sina Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Richard Bachmann, Dr. Prospero De Vera ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilbert Teodoro.
Matapos ang opening ceremony na magtatampok sa mga cheerleading exhibition at cultural performances ay papagitna ang aksyon sa volleyball sa alas-6 ng gabi
Magtatapat ang Rizal Technological University (RTU) ng Army at ang Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PHILSCA) ng Air Force sa pagsisimula ng elimination round.
