Sino sa walong entries ng MMFF ang mangunguna sa unang araw?

Wow, Merry Christmas to one and all.

Well, if we know, lahat ng producers, lalo’t ang mga star ng walong pelikulang palabas in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) ay naghu-hope na ang kanilang mga respective film entries ay kumita.

And they, of course, include The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin starring Vice Ganda, Richard Yap, Alex Gonzaga, at Bimby Aquino Yap; Feng Shui 2 with Kris Aquino and Coco Martin; Bonifacio, Ang Unang Pangulo nina Robin Padilla, Vina Morales, Daniel Padilla, at Jasmine Curtis-Smith; English Only, Please nina Derek Ramsey at Jennylyn Mercado; Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2 starring Dingdong Dantes and Isabelle Daza; Muslim Magnum Muslim .357 nina Jorge Estregan at Sam Pinto; My Big Bossing, ni Vic Sotto, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Marian Rivera, at Nikki Gil; and Shake, Rattle and Roll (SRR) XV na kinabibilangan nina Dennis Trillo, Carla Abella, Lovi Poe, Matteo Guidicelli, Daniel Matsunaga, Erich Gonzales, at JC de Vera.

Well, bukas malalaman ang figures kung alin sa walong kasali ang nagpakitang-gilas sa takilya sa opening day ng MMFF, which is today.

KC at Paulo hindi na maitago ang nararamdaman

Obvious na may romansa nang namamagitan sa kasalukuyan kina KC Concepcion at Paulo Avelino. Well, based on their respective body language kumbaga, when the two of them attended the presscon of their first team-up, Exchange Gift, the third and the last of the three episodes na offering ng Dreamscape Entertainment Television, Give Love on Christmas.

The first two episodes, of course, were The Gift Giver, starring Eddie Garcia, Aiko Melendez, Dimples Romana, and child actor Louise Abuel, and The Gift of Life, which marked the first team-up nina Gerald Anderson at Maja Salvador.

Exchange Gift likewise, marks the first team-up din nina KC at Paulo na parang may romansa na ngang namamagitan sa dalawa, pero hindi talaga nila inaamin o idi-deny din naman.

They revealed though, that they have gifts na for each other, which again, ­neither of them would disclose kung ano’ng particular gift mayroon sila sa isa’t isa.

Bagamat binanggit ni KC na ang gift niya sa binata is something which has to do with the current sport Paulo.

They will not be together too, ngayong Pasko. Paulo said, he is going to spend the day with his parents. KC on the other hand said, her family is still in mourning, as mag-iisang buwan pa lamang mula nang binawian ng buhay ang kanyang lola on her mom’s (Sharon Cuneta) side, the late Elaine Cuneta.

Obvious na ito rin ang dahilan why Paulo chose not to invite KC to be with him in Baguio for the holidays.

But KC daw ay nagkaroon na ng chance na ma-meet ang kanyang pamilya. Yes, in Baguio. Instant liking daw ang naramdaman ng members ng kanyang family sa anak nina Sharon at Gabby (Concepcion).

By the way, after the presscon which was held at the 13th floor of ABS-CBN’s ELJ Building, KC invited members of the press to a Christmas get-together at the nearby restaurant, Gerry’s Grill at nagpa-raffle siya.

Actually, it was only KC who honored the press with such gesture this Christmas.
