“I’m here to meet with the Philippine Chess Federation about my bid to presidency in FIDE,” ani Kasparov.

“But the current situation in the country, the horrible catastrophe, I think it is appropriate to commit 10 thousand US dollars as help,” dagdag pa nito.

Sinalubong si Kasparov sa airport nina National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) president Prospero “Butch” Pitchay, Grandmaster Eugene Torre at NCFP secretary General Jayson Gonzales.

“You know, this coming FIDE election is a competition for better ideas,” sabi ni Kasparov sa FIDE presidential election.
