MANILA, Philippines – Ruffa Gutierrez wants to maintain the respect between her and mom Annabelle Rama despite their conflicting opinions.

The misunderstanding rooted from Annabelle’s disapproval of Ruffa’s more than a year of relationship with Jordan Mouyal.

“Siguro at this point I would like to have that respect between us, the relationship between us. But in the end, gusto ko pa rin makapag-decide ako on my own,” she said in an interview on Thursday.
