Iranian community extends condolences to the Phl

The Philippine Star

The Iranian community in the Philippines extends its sincere condolences and profound sympathies to the Philippine nation for the tragedy that hit Eastern Visayas, brought about by super typhoon Yolanda.

As Saadi, the great Iranian poet has said:

“All human beings are in truth akin

All in creation share one origin

When fate allots a member pangs and pains

No ease for other members then remains

If, unperturbed, another’s grief canst scan

Thou are not worthy of the name of man.“

Reminding the day of Ashura and Martyrdom of Imam Hossein (grandson of Prophet Mohammad), the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is appealing to the Iranian community in the Philippines for donations for the victims of Super typhoon Yolanda which brought an enormous state of devastation in Eastern Visayas.

For this purpose, the Embassy has opened an exclusive account uder the name of Finance Officer, Mr. Ahmad Vasheghani Farahani. You may deposit your kind contribution to Account No. 000040787710 (BDO SM Makati Branch). Thank you. —IRANIAN EMBASSY, Manila
