CEBU MANGO. A Cebuano mango producer said to an Ear informer that there are some fruit vendors in Metro Manila who are selling mangoes supposedly from Cebu but are actually from some provinces in Luzon. It is widely known that Cebu mangoes rate high among fruit lovers.

BATCHOY. A food products businessman also complained to The Ear source that manufacturers of ready-to-eat noodles have their own “batchoy.” But, he said, the taste is not like the genuine La Paz batchoy. “This has ruined the reputation of the La Paz batchoy,” the businessman said.
