Dishonest jeepney conductor

BRIGHT PUJ CONDUCTOR. A returnee from Saudi Arabia who drives his own jeepney recently fired his conductor for dishonesty. He said after just a little over a year of working for him the conductor was able to buy good clothes, a watch, and an expensive shades. He also eats in fastfood shops during break time. “Dakoa diay sa iyang ‘cut’ sa mga plite nga iyang madawat,” the PUJ owner told an Ear informer.

THREAT. The conductor threatened the PUJ owner (his erstwhile boss) with bodily harm but before he could make good his threat the jeep owner’s two sons beat him to the draw, so to speak. “Gikulata kini (conductor) ug gihuboan sa iyang Levis jeans, sapatos ug relo,” The Ear informer said.
