FROGS FOR FOOD. The Ear learned that more and more people in the city’s slum areas area eating frog’s meat sold cheap by some farmers. Most of the frogs sold for food come from the rice fields and are clean and edible. This according to a frog meat seller who also sells cooked (adobo style) frogs.

“EXPORTABLE” FROGS. An Ear source said many people living in Cebu’s farming areas are “exporting” already skinned frogs to Manila where frogs as delicacies carry high price tags in the exotic food eateries in the Chinatown area.
