Balikbayan frowns on gov't riding on Pacman's popularity

POPULAR PACMAN. With the undeniable popularity of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, a balikbayan observed that the government has been riding on his star power. Pacquiao could be seen with President GMA on different occasions. The balikbayan has been living in Europe for 10 years and seldom gets information about Philippine politics.

POLITICAL PLANS. When the balikbayan said, “It seems that our government is milking Pacman’s popularity for all its worth. Ride on kaayo sila ni Pacquiao.” The balikbayan’s friend answered, “Basin ganahan sab si Pacman kay may plano gud siya modagan pagka Congressman.” The balikbayan said, “Ah, OK. Mao diay.”
