A special Mermaid show entitled "Mythical Sirens of the Sea" features beautiful dancing mermaids underwater at the Oceanarium is ongoing until January 15. On December 14, student choral groups from Manila will compete for vocal supremacy and show their school pride in Battle of the Stars Season 3. Champion school choirs from this competition will serenade park visitors with Christmas carols during the entire holidays. The official Christmas tree lighting ceremony will also commence on the same day as Manila Ocean Park dazzles everyone with its theme colors: fuschia, gold, blue and green. The 50-feet Christmas tree located at the Concourse plaza is composed of 1,500 feet of blue and white LED sparkling lights and 1,200 Christmas balls. Kids will be delighted to have a Meet and Greet with Santa Claus at the Santa Corner and whisper their Christmas list.
