Girl, stuffed inside sack, found dead in Batangas

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A girl, who was stuffed inside a white sack, was found dead along a roadside in Barangay Maria in Sto. Tomas City, Batangas on Saturday.

Police said a resident discovered the sack partly hidden by thick vegetation.

Investigators said a relative sought the help of barangay officials after the girl failed to return home on Friday.
