3 Chinese held for drugs, guns

MANILA, Philippines — Three Chinese citizens were apprehended for alleged possession of loose firearms and suspected illegal drugs in Pasay City over the weekend.

Zhangjian Wu, 32; Guanglin Jiang, 28, and Wei Mao, 23, were nabbed in a condominium unit along Seaside Boulevard.

Seized from the suspects were an unlicensed Glock 26 and a loaded 9mm pistol.

Police said they also confiscated from the suspects around 11 grams of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Charges of violating Republic Act 10591 or the law on illegal firearms and RA 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, will be filed against the suspects.
