Couple, 2 others shot dead

MANILA, Philippines — Four persons, including a couple, were gunned down in Barangay NBBN, Navotas before dawn yesterday.

The fatalities were Allan de la Cruz, 49; his partner Rosalia Mena, 26; Saly Sapalo, 41, and a 15-year-old boy.

Reports said unidentified men broke into the victims’ house and opened fire.

The suspects fled on two motorcycles after the attack.

Based on barangay and police records, De la Cruz had been freed on parole for a murder case.

Police said they are conducting a probe to identify and arrest the suspects.
