3 Dawlah Islamiya members killed

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao del Norte, Philippines — Three suspected members of the Dawlah Islamiya were killed in a military offensive along the Liguasan Delta on Wednesday.

Maj. Gen. Alex Rillera, 6th Infantry Division commander, said Samsudin Miro, Kamid Sindatu and Mohaimen Salik, followers of Almoben Sibud, were killed in artillery attacks.

Meanwhile, Pfc. Jorey Abibas was killed while Pfc. Jonathan Nacion was wounded in a gun attack allagedly by members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters at a public market in Barangay Libutan in Mamasapano in Maguindanao del Sur on Wednesday. A bystander was hit by a stray bullet.
